Welcome to Wal-Mart, where you save big and live better blah blah blah. According to Automotive News, Wal-mart will be partnering with CarSaver Ki0sk to introduce vehicles sales in twenty- five Wal-mart stores across the southwest. I think this was the perfect time for them to make this transition, especially since its tax season.
Staff workers will be available to help buyers through the process of purchasing cars. Wal-Mart shoppers will be able to examine their options, apply for financing through Ally, and shop for insurance. Their system will connect buyers with a dealership within fifteen miles of the Wal-Mart.
After Wal-Mart and CarSaver ran a pilot program in Stuart, FL last year, they found out that customers saved three thousand dollars off the car’s sticker price on average. CarSaver’s CEO Sean Wolfington told Automotive News that 80 percent of customers who set up appointments at the kiosks with a dealer made a car purchase at the end. In two years, CarSaver expects to expand in more Wal-Mart stores across the nation.
