A very powerful and heart felt visual from Jackson Mississippi artist “SILAS” has gone viral and I love it! During the early 90’s “Gullah Gullah Island” was one of my favorite tv shows to watch growing up as a kid. Playing together, having a great time, and uniting as one was very important during that time. Some may think that the African American culture has seemed to deviate from that message. Along with other great artists such as “Kendrick Lamar/Beyonce Knowles“, Silas also uses his platform to shed light on police brutality in regards to African American people. Check it out this visual directed by the DARK BROTHERS.
