“A Goal is the object of a person’s ambition or effort, an aim or desired result”.

“People who feel good about themselves produce good results,”  is one of my favorite quotes from the book The One Minute Manager written by Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson. It is one of my all time favorites because I firmly believe that when you feel better you’ll perform better.

Achieving one’s goal may not be as easy as it may seem, you have to be mentally prepared for what you’re about endeavor. When it comes to setting goals for yourself, it may not be as hard as you think!

Here is a list of six steps that may help align your thoughts on goal setting.

  1. Agree on your goals
  2. See what good behavior looks like.
  3. Write out each of your goals on a single sheet of paper using less than a 100 words.
  4. Read and re-read each goal.
  5. Take a minute every once in a while out of your day to look at your performance.
  6. See Whether or not your behavior matches your goal.

I found these steps to be very helpful, check them out and share this information with others.
