Bernie Mac was one of America’s most loved comedians. Known for his eccentric lines and potty mouth, Bernie kept it real and didn’t hold anything back. After infamously telling a rowdy Def Comedy Jam crowd “I’m not scared o’ you mother*******”, Mac rose to the spotlight. He alongside Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer starred in The Original Kings of Comedy. He landed numerous movie roles and even his own hit TV sitcom, “The Bernie Mac Show.”

The comedian suffered from Sarcoidosis, a disease involving abnormal collections of inflammatory cells that form lumps known as “granulomas”, which ultimately produced a heart attack on August 9th, 2008 that led Mac to his untimely death. Many, Louisiana artist “Slym” also was diagnosed with the same disease and decided to dedicate a visual to the comedian titled, “RIP Bernie Mac.” The lyrics are heartfelt, personal and powerful and we just want to spotlight it, since today marks the 8th year since Bernie’s passing.

ChangeOfPlanz will forever remember one of the best comedians to ever do it, RIP Bernie Mac.
